Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre celebrates the festive spirit with ‘Mix It Up!’: A cheerful cake mixing celebration under the Mango Tree

Hyderabad, 11th November, 2025: Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) ushered in the festive season with its annual cake mixing ceremony, ‘Mix It Up!’, held under the iconic Mango Tree. The vibrant event blended tradition, togetherness, and indulgence, marking the joyful onset of the holiday season.

Guests gathered for a heartwarming afternoon as they participated in the age-old ritual of cake mixing combining an array of nuts, fruits, and spirits that symbolize prosperity and happiness for the coming year. The celebration also featured grape stomping, exclusive family cake-mixing setups, and a tranquil high tea experience, creating an atmosphere of festive camaraderie and cheer.

The culinary indulgence continued with a lavish high tea spread featuring freshly brewed teas and coffees, complemented by an assortment of cookies, from classic choco-chip and oat to rich peanut butter. Guests savored decadent delights like florentine tarts, Dundee cake, Scottish macarons, mince pies, carrot pistachio tea cake, and the traditional plum cake evoking nostalgia and festive warmth. A live Krispy Kreme doughnut counter, churro pudding with fresh strawberries, and savory favorites such as fish and chips, pulled lamb chili fry, Novotel chicken rolls, and gourmet sandwiches added to the delightful spread.

Set against the picturesque lawns of Novotel, under the Mango Tree, the evening came alive with festive music, laughter, and the comforting aroma of mulled wine and freshly baked treats  a perfect prelude to the holiday season.
