MSM Unify and APDI Sign MoU for Online Certified Corporate Investigator Course

The MoU was signed by Mr. Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman, APDI, and Ms. Rajni Bhatla, Executive Director, Workforce Development (B2G), MSM Unify.

The programme will focus on skills relevant to corporate fraud investigations, due diligence, compliance and evidence handling. Its online format is intended to help investigation professionals across India undertake structured training alongside their work.

Mr. Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman, APDI, said,

“Corporate clients increasingly expect investigators to understand compliance, digital evidence and forensic methods alongside field investigation. Training must reflect these expectations. This programme will give professionals access to structured learning that strengthens their capabilities and encourages consistent professional standards across the sector.”

The curriculum is aligned with the National Occupational Standards and Qualification Packs  recognised by the Security Sector Skill Development Council. It will build on APDI’s ten foundational training modules, with an eleventh module on forensic investigation developed by MSM Unify in consultation with APDI.

Mr. Sanjay Laul, Founder and Director, MSM Unify, said,

“Specialised training needs to be accessible to the professionals who use it in their daily work. By combining APDI’s industry expertise with MSM Unify’s digital learning capabilities, we aim to help investigators strengthen their skills through a programme that connects occupational standards with workplace requirements.”

The course will be delivered entirely online through MSM Unify’s learning platform, with video lectures, interactive modules, reading material and assignments available through a dedicated student portal. Learner data will be hosted on servers in India.

Ms. Rajni Bhatla, Executive Director, Workforce Development (B2G), MSM Unify, said,

“Our focus is on making the course practical and manageable for working professionals. We will work with APDI to develop the courseware and forensic investigation module, supported by an online platform and learner support throughout the programme.”

Evaluation and certification are planned in academic partnership with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar. Assessments are expected to be conducted through online proctoring, with successful participants receiving digital certificates. The first batch is planned for 50 participants.

Under the partnership, APDI will lead industry engagement, outreach and enrolment through its professional network. MSM Unify will develop and digitise the courseware, create the forensic investigation module in consultation with APDI, and provide the technology platform and learner support.
